La representación del proyecto arquitectónico y sus límites son las ideas que Paloma Hernaiz y Jaime Oliver, directores de Oh Lab utilizan como inspiración para poner en marcha esta colaboración. Comisariado por Tina DiCarlo y realizado por los fotógrafos Andrea Caruso, Alberto Gobbino y Carlo Frigerio, el poeta Gonzalo Escarpa y Tres Tipos Gráficos, este proyecto ha desembocado en una exposición en la galería Magnus Müller de Berlín y en la publicación que aquí se presenta.

The representation of the architectural project and its limits are the ideas that Paloma Hernaiz and Jaime Oliver, Oh Lab directors used as inspiration to set up this collaboration. Curated by Tina DiCarlo and realized by the photographers Andrea Caruso, Alberto Gobbino and Carlo Frigerio, the poet Gonzalo Escarpa and Tres Tipos Gráficos, this project has culminated in an exhibition at the Magnus Müller gallery in Berlin and in the publication presented here.

Con motivo de la exposición en el Museo del Traje, se realiza por primera vez un exhaustivo estudio del carácter multidisciplinar del artista Mariano Fortuny y Madrazo. Se concibe un catálogo con esta misma estructura heterogénea donde se intercalan ensayos, piezas de la exposición e imágenes de referencia. Se realiza además la dirección de arte de las fotografías potenciando la riqueza cromática y material de los textiles.

Within an exhibition of the works of Mariano Fortuny y Madrazo at the Garment Museum in Madrid,  a thorough study of the multidisciplinary character of the artist was performed for the first time.  The catalog uses the same heterogeneous structure, intertwinning essays, items from the exhibition and reference visuals. The art direction for the photographs is meant to foster the chromatic and texture richness of the fabrics.

La Sociedad Estatal para la Acción Cultural Exterior de España (SEACEX) promueve una serie de exposiciones itinerantes por las principales ciudades europeas del artista informalista Antoni Clavé. La editorial Turner propone un ágil desarrollo para este catálogo bilingüe, cuya maqueta versátil diese cabida a distintas referencias e ilustraciones, así como a la heterogénea tipología de textos que se desarrollan a lo largo de los cinco ensayos y entrevistas que analizan la obra del artista.

The State Society for the External Cultural Action of Spain (SEACEX) promotes a series of exhibitions in the main European cities of the informalist artist Antoni Clavé. Turner editorial presents a nimble rendering for this bilingual catalog, versatile enough to integrate various references and illustrations, as well as heterogeneous texts of the five essays and interviews where the artist's works is studied.

En estas publicaciones del Ministerio de Medio Ambiente y Medio Rural y Marino se recogen diferentes actuaciones, experiencias y reflexiones sobre la mujer en el Medio rural español. La ilustración y los materiales reciclados confieren a estas publicaciones un aspecto evocador y atractivo.

In these publications of the Ministry of Environment, Rural and Marine world, various actions, experiences and reflections about the woman in the Spanish rural environment are collected. The illustration and the recycled materials give these publications an attractive and evocative aspect.

Continuando con la línea establecida desde el 2007, recurrimos esta vez a texturas de entornos urbanos para crear las imágenes que estructuran el anuario.

Following the path established since 2007, we resorted to urban textures to create the images which are the structure of the Annual Report.

With this promotion action, Torraspapel wants to show the possibilities of the Medley paper when used in editorial design. We choosed to put together a book on the graphic design sector containing a survey about design among several people selected at random. Their answers are shown in the book. ¿What does the people know about our occupation?

The publication of a selection of the best Journal of Physical Activity & Health articles for the first time in Spanish is the reason for this special three volumes edition. The scientific thesis series demand a sophisticated and accurate layout.

Estos libros contienen la propuesta que Madrid presenta para cada disciplina Olímpica de cara a los Juegos de 2016. En ellos se detalla toda la información sobre las sedes de competición que se destinan a cada disciplina, calendarios, planos de la candidatura... así como información general sobre el concepto y legado de los Juegos de Madrid 2016. Cada unos de estos libros es revisado y aprobado por la Federación Internacional correspondiente.

These booklets summarize Madrid proposal for each Olympic discipline in view of 2016 Olympic Games. The booklets gather detailed information on the competition venues assigned to each sport, competition calendars, candidature plans, together with general information on the concept and legacy of Madrid 2016 games. Each booklet is submitted to the Federations so that they can assess the proposal and the candidature gets their approval.

El dossier de Candidatura de Madrid 2016 es el documento que la ciudad presenta al Comité Olímpico Internacional para albergar los XXXI Juegos Olímpicos. Diseñado en colaboración con Tau design y bajo el concepto de "Los Juegos de las Personas" contiene información relativa a la coyuntura política y económica, aspectos jurídicos, sanitarios, etc, así como un gran número de planos describiendo el proyecto deportivo.

Madrid 2016 Candidature File is the document that the city submits to the International Olympic Committee to host the Games of the XXXI Olympiad. It was designed in cooperation with Tau design under the concept "The Games with the human touch" and it contains information on the economic and political situation, legal and health aspects and also a large number of plans describing the sports project.

Continuando con la línea establecida en el 2007, recurrimos esta vez a texturas vegetales para crear las imágenes que estructuran el anuario.

Following the line we established in 2007, in this occasion we resort to vegetable textures in order to create the images which are the structure of the Annual Report.

La apertura al exterior como concepto se formaliza en los paisajes en movimiento que ilustran este anuario de cuidadas jerarquías y estructura dinámica donde tanto tablas como gráficas han sido diseñadas para facilitar el acceso a la información.

The opening to the outside as a concept becomes real in the moving landscapes that illustrate this yearbook based on meticulous hierarchies and a dynamic structure where both the tables and the graphs have been specially designed to improve access to information.

La muestra Teatro de las Autonomías que se gestiona desde el Círculo de Bellas Artes requería de una imagen para poder atraer al público. Conceptualizamos la magia del teatro en una figura que, levantando su sombrero, nos invita a entrar en una nueva realidad que no podemos ver ya que permanece en penumbras. Realizamos las diferentes adaptaciones y el programa de mano de la muestra bajo la dirección de Joaquín Gallego.

The Teatro de las Autonomías (theatre festival), organized by Círculo de Bellas Artes (Madrid Fine Arts Society) was in need of an adequate image to attract the audience. The magic of the theatre is represented by a character who lifts up his hat and invites us to enter a new reality that we cannot see because it is in the half-darkness. We designed the festival’s different adaptations and the hand program under the direction of Joaquín Gallego.

Desde la dirección de arte de Joaquín Gallego diseñamos el programa mensual del Cinestudio. Cada mes, una superposición de los fotogramas de algunas de las películas proyectadas ilustra la portada. Asimismo, el uso de tipografías superpuestas refleja la gran cantidad de ciclos y películas que podemos ver en este peculiar cine. En su interior, una buena jerarquización de los textos nos permite navegar por el programa con comodidad.

Under Joaquín Gallego’s artistic direction we design the monthly program of the Cinestudio (independent cinema program). Every month, the superimposition of the stills of some of the screened films illustrates the cover. Also, the use of superimposed typographies shows the large number of seasons and movies that we can see in this singular cinema. In the inside, a good ranking of the texts allows us to go through the program easily.

El MNCARS realizó por segundo año consecutivo un certamen de publicidad en el que ésta es analizada desde una perspectiva artística. El volumen es un catálogo de los spots seleccionados, precedidos por textos que teorizan sobre la relación entre el arte y la publicidad. La cuidada selección de papeles, una producción excelente y recursos gráficos contenidos pero protagonistas, permiten la reflexión sobre la publicidad que este certamen buscaba.

For the second year in a row, the MNCARS held an advertising contest where advertising is analyzed from an artistic perspective. 

The volume is a catalogue of the selected spots introduced by texts on the relationship between art and advertising. The careful selection of papers, an excellent production and simple but prominent graphic resources, allow the reflection on advertising aimed at by the contest.

Con motivo de la exposición Peter Witte: Fotografías de Madrid: 1965-1990 se editó un catálogo con la obra de este fotógrafo. Diseñamos el volumen y coordinamos la producción del mismo, en el que la sutileza de los elementos gráficos empleados permite que las fotografías tengan la importancia que merecen.

With the occasion of Peter Witte’s exhibition a catalogue with the photographer’s work was published. We designed the volume and coordinated its production. The subtlety of the graphic elements we used duly underlines the importance of the photographs.

Las primeras Jornadas de Educación física y Salud se celebraron en Madrid y para ellas se diseñó una evocadora imagen que funciona como representación de ambas disciplinas. Se realizó, además, el diseño de estas jornadas de tres días de duración, con gran protagonismo de audiovisuales y material gráfico que manejaron tanto ponentes como asistentes.

The first Conferences on Physical Education and Health were held in Madrid. An evocative image was designed to represent both disciplines. Also, the design of the three-days Conferences was carried out, the emphasis being put on the graphic and audiovisual material used both by the speakers and the participants.

La exposición Leonardo da Vinci y la Música conllevó la construcción de los instrumentos inventados por Leonardo así como una aportación teórica sobre su relación con la música, el sonido, la acústica, etc. Todo ello tiene su reflejo en un completo catálogo cuidadosamente diseñado y producido.

Leonardo da Vinci y la Música exhibition led to the construction of the instruments invented by Leonardo together with the theoretical contribution on his relationship with music, sound, acoustics, etc. Everything is reflected in a complete catalogue carefully designed and produced.
